Description
The Nail Therapy – Gel systems course provides you with the foundation nail enhancement applications. such as Tip Application, Builder applications, Sculpting overlay using gel application methods
This course is a 6 day in class course that includes Nail therapy and Gel theory as well as practical on applications
What you will learn:
- Gel application nail theory
- Occupational health and safety within the salon
- Client consultation and client expectations
- Marketing your gel nail systems business
Students will be required to do 1 week at home study after the course completion, prior to their formative practical and theory exams
60 days (2 months) after the formative exams, the student will be required to complete their Portfolio of evidence as well as their notional hours as set out by services seta. If the student has also completed their required courses these can be done together
Applicants who wish to complete the course up to the summative, should have a Matric certification or equivalent certification.
