DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
VIRGIN HAIR:
1. First bleach hair 1-2cm away from scalp before treating root area.
COLOURED HAIR:
1. Place 35ml bleach powder into a plastic/glass dish, mix with an adequate amount of cream peroxide (approx 35ml) to achieve a creamy paste of a viscosity as required, do not prepare mixture until it is required.
2. Perform a preliminary strand test.
3. Use aluminium foil cut into 10 x 15cm pieces, if preferred use a bleaching cap for frosting/tipping.
4. Apply bleach with a flat brush/colouring comb to partitioned hair.
5. Allow bleach to develop, checking hair frequently.
6. The development time depends on lift required and hair quality. Generally, development requires between 20-50 minutes.
7. If hair is sufficiently lightened, rinse hair thoroughly with lukewarm water.
8. Shampoo hair and rinse again, thereafter apply conditioner.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The strength of the peroxide used depends on degree of lightening required. Generally, 20% Vol (6%) is sufficient.
TIP: For highlights, 30% Vol (9%) may be preferred.
TIP: Do not use 40% Vol (12%) on scalp.
