Description
The Nail Therapy NQF level 4 course provides you with the foundation of Nail care to your potential customers.
This course is a 3 day in class course that includes theory as well as practical on the Manicure and Pedicure procedure.
What you will learn:
- Nail theory
- Identifying nail diseases and disorders
- Hand and foot diseases and disorders
- Occupational health and safety within the salon
- Client consultation and client expectations
- Marketing your mani-pedi business
This module forms part of the NQF L4 Nail and Beauty Technology course.
Students will be required to do 1 week at home study after the course completion, prior to writing their formative exams.
60 days (2 months) after the formative exams, the student will be required to complete their Portfolio of evidence as well as their notional hours as set out by services seta.
This course must be completed prior to scheduling either of the Gel or Acrylic Systems courses.
Applicants who wish to complete the course up to the summative, should have a Matric certification or equivalent certification.
