What is Fibroblast Plasma Skin Tightening?

How does Fibroblast Plasma work?

The plasma pen is designed to work on the principles of ionizing gas from the atmosphere around us. ( The 4^th state of matter. When the electrical arc touches the skins surface (From the correct distance) the heat opens the pores as the superfluous plasma is transferred into the epidermis layer. This method ensures the arc reaches the fibroblasts, causing the skin to contract, whereby excess skin shrinks away. A superficial scab forms within 3-10 days, for which adequate aftercare is required.

Does Fibroblast Plasma Treatments hurt?

The plasma treatment is a heat based procedure and can therefore be sensitive, thus we ensure that the treatment area is adequately anesthetized for the duration of the treatment. Clients may feel a slight stinging, sensation, however is not uncomfortable.

Which areas can be treated:

Frown, Forehead, Brows, Under eyes, Nasolabial Folds, Jowls, Chin, Lips, Neck, Breasts, Inner arms, inner thighs, knees, elbows, stretchmarks, belly.  It is advisable to consult with your therapist on the best treatment plan for the area you wish to treat

Aftercare and downtime

You can expect to have some redness and swelling immediately after the procedure and for a few days following. 3-7 Days. Tiny scabs will form where the individual micro dots have been placed. You will be provided with post treatment balm to apply to the area. The dark spots should be left to fall off naturally as these are protecting the new skin underneath. After about 3-5 days to a week, these will fall off and the skin may still be slightly red. Mineral makeup can be worn 24-48 hours after the treatment. Sun protection must be applied to protect the healing skin for a min of 28 days.

Are you a candidate for the Plasma Fibroblast treatment?

The Plasma procedure is suitable for all skin types under the Fitzpatrick scale. However skin type 1 and 2 are at a lower risk to develop post treatment pigmentation, where skin type 3 -6 are at a higher risk. Patients with certain skin conditions may also not be prime candidates.
