Description

The Waxing Therapy NQF level 4 course provides you with the foundation of (Depilation) Hair removal Treatments to your potential customers.

This course is a 4 day in class course that includes theory as well as practical on the application and removal of Hot and cold wax  procedure.

What you will learn:

  • Skin Theory
  • Hair Theory
  • Identifying Skin and Hair Diseases and Disorders
  • Occupational health and safety within the salon
  • Hot and Cold Wax Treatments
  • Face, Legs, Underarms, Back, Bikini Treatment Protocols and Procedures
  • Client consultation and client expectations
  • Marketing your Hair removal Business

This module forms part of the NQF L4 Nail and Beauty Technology course.

Students will be required to do 1 week at home study after the course completion, prior to writing their formative exams.

60 days (2 months) after the formative exams, the student will be required to complete their Portfolio of evidence as well as their notional hours as set out by services seta.

This course must be completed prior certification is to take place

Applicants who wish to complete the course up to the summative, should have a Matric certification or equivalent certification.
