Course and Training Terms and Conditions
The Learner/Student and/Sponsor is required to adhere to the payment procedures and policies unless a prior arrangement has been made between the Learner/Student and/Sponsor and Planet Beauty Dermatological Training Academy SA in writing.
Any Training course/workshop whether full time/part time modular or correspondence attended at Planet Beauty Dermatological Training Academy SA or any of its branches must be paid in full prior to training the date/Assessments/ Formative exams in accordance with the Modular/Full time and or part time/correspondence training courses/workshop agreement.
A deposit payment is required prior to confirming scheduled training dates and is NON-REFUNDABLE Courses/Workshops/Modular/part time or full time courses missed at the booking date can be rescheduled for the next available training date.
The amount paid for training as set out in the Quote/Invoice/Brochure/Webpage/Advert/schedule whether with or without a device, secures the learner/student’s place in the training course/workshop/modular whether full time/part time or correspondence/Online. Deposit fees will not be refunded in the event of cancellations, no shows or applicants who do not complete the course.
A certificate of completion will be issued by Planet Beauty Dermatological Training Academy SA once the learner has been declared competent in the selected training course.
Neither Planet Beauty Dermatological Training Academy SA nor any of our employees shall be held responsible in any way or form for any reason whatsoever for the action taken by any appointed affiliated educator/branch/learner or 3rd party.
Should a workshop/course be booked, and you cannot attend the course, it will be rescheduled once to a more suitable date for both parties.
Training/Course/Workshops Modular, Fulltime or Part time/Correspondence Funds paid are Non-Refundable.
Planet Beauty Dermatological Training Academy SA and known affiliated companies, reserve the right to change/amend policies/pricing and dates without prior notice to course fees being paid. Every effort is made to accommodate errors and to ensure that learners are deemed competent.
Planet Beauty Dermatological Training Academy SA will not be held responsible for any manor of misconduct or incompetent treatments given by students to their clients. Each Student/Learner must ensure that the necessary legal documentation for their business/staff for indemnity purposes have been issued to their clients. It remains the responsibility of each Student/Learner that the Training/Course/Workshop Educator and branch is accredited with Planet Beauty Dermatological Training Academy SA programme and products. The learner must complete both a Theoretical and Practical Training and Assessment before a certificate will be issued.
It is the responsibility of each student/Learner to catch up any work lost on days where they have been marked absent. Students/Learners who are marked absent on Assessments/Formative/Summative and or national exams will be liable to an additional exam Fee of R2500 to re-register for exams.
Formative Assessments will be conducted by the Facilitator Presenting the course or by the in house Assessor where applicable. Summative and National Assessments/Exams will be conducted by External Moderators and Assessors or the In house Moderator/Assessor where applicable for Fulltime and or Part Time courses attended at Planet Beauty Dermatological Training Academy SA.
Students/Learners are required to arrive 30min prior to exam time to set up their stations/treatment areas according to the assessment they are to be tested on. Theoretical exams will be adhered to on scheduled dates of which the Student/Learner will be informed on in advance. Formative and Summative Exam Fees are NOT included in the NQF Modular Courses unless otherwise advertised and are R950 Formative and R1500 Summative per student Exam. Full Year Student Exam Fees are Included unless attendance on the 1st scheduled dates are missed, whereas above mentioned Fee will be applicable. It is the responsibility of the student/learner to ensure that they have models for all practical’s or demo days on which they are to learn the Procedure.
Case studies are to be submitted as a portfolio, of Before and After photo’s, client consultations for each subject as well as Notional hours to receive the credits allocated to such, for all NQF Training courses/modular/ workshops/fulltime and or part time. These case studies can be submitted via email and or handed in in a flip file/Arch Lever File if more than one case study is submitted. Each treatment should be separated with a divider indicating the treatment performed.
